Interior view of the Salle des Fêtes at the Château de Compiègne, decorated with several large crystal chandeliers hanging from a decorated ceiling. The reverse contains handwritten correspondence addressed to Monsieur A. Gayet, priest of Bonnemabelle, with a signature and an illegible handwritten date. Green 5 centimes stamp of the French Republic, postmarked in Compiègne.
