Description

Black and white view of the ruined Castle of Coucy-le-Château, with a cylindrical keep dominating the ruins, photographed at sunrise. Printed text at the top and bottom indicates the publisher 'Hôtel des Ruines' and the owner 'Widow François'. The reverse has handwritten violet writing addressed to 'Maman', with a mention of 'Bayeux' and a note about the rain and the joy of receiving the card.
