Description

Illustration of the Château de Fougères, more specifically the Poterne from the 15th century, inspired by an engraving by Cicéri and dating from the romantic era. The reverse indicates that the castle is located near Mont Saint-Michel, in a picturesque valley, and mentions that it is classified as one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. It is also noted that it is a medieval triptych from the collection of the Syndicat d'initiatives, photo P.P., no. 185.
