View of the Château de Maintenon with its water feature, with printed text describing its history: begun by Philippe-Auguste, largely built by Jean Cottereau in the 17th century, sold in 1674. Reverse: postcard with instructions at the top, space for correspondence and address, and a partially visible postmark.
