View of the Château de Monceau in Prissé, Burgundy, built in 1648 by Philippe Moisson and acquired by the great-great-grandfather of the poet Lamartine in 1672. The castle was his residence every year until his death in 1869. Reverse: postcard by P. Charvet, photographer from Daxpy, with space for correspondence and address.
