View of the Morthemer Castle in Vienne, with its imposing tower and entrance under a porch, surrounded by greenery. The reverse features handwritten text celebrating a successful trip and addressed to Madame Porten in Bern, with a 12-franc stamp and a cancellation mark from Morillon (Vienne) dated July 18, 1949.
