View of the east facade of Murols Castle, an imposing ruin dating from the 11th century, belonging to the Chambe family. The printed text relates its history, including Jeanne de Murols, his wife, and its acquisition by Mgr de Lapartrie in 1770. The postcard bears the inscription 'Auvergne - G.D'O. - 16 - Castle of Murols (East Facade)' and the publisher's name 'Pluy de Tonne'.
