View of Pierrefonds Castle, an imposing fortress with multiple towers and battlements, seen from the road to Compiègne. At the bottom, houses and a sign reading 'Paris Horse and Car Hire' are visible. The back has handwritten text addressed to 'Miss Myr', with a postmark from 'TAPLE' and a note 'Lévy et Neurdein Réins, 110 rue Littellier, Paris'.
