Description

Richly decorated interior of the Grand Salon of the Château de Rambouillet, with carved woodwork, a framed ornamental mirror, a patterned chair, and a chandelier. Handwritten text at the top: 'Rambouillet January 18, 1906. For my sister-in-law. On the occasion of your celebration, I offer you my sincerest wishes...'. On the reverse, address to Mademoiselle Fieschi, teacher, in Algiers, with a 10 centimes postage stamp and a Rambouillet (Seine-et-Oise) postmark dated 17-9-04.
