Description

Black and white view of the avenue of the Sceaux Castle, lined with trees and centered on a statue on a pedestal. The printed text at the bottom identifies the location. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated October 5, 1916, sent to Mr. Henry Godefroy at the 10th Artillery Battery, with a 10 centimes postage stamp and a cancellation mark from Sceaux.
