Description

View of the Château de St-Cirgues in the Valley of the Couze Pavin, in Auvergne, with printed text indicating its reconstruction in 1495 by Thomas-Bohier and its ownership by the Count of Hunolstein. The reverse has a handwritten inscription dated August 2, addressed to a 'dear friend', mentioning travel plans to Paris and Boulogne, as well as a signature 'Hertrand'.
