Postcard showing the Château du Plessis in Semelay, with its conical towers and stone architecture. The reverse features a handwritten letter sent from the château to Lyon, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. The Captain of the Military Intendance, with a 15-centime stamp and a postmark from Saint-Étienne dated 24 October 1908.
