Description

Picturesque view of a village perched on a rock overlooking the Dordogne, with a ruined feudal castle dating from the 12th and 15th centuries. The printed text mentions that the castle is the homeland of the brave Huguenot captain Vivant, captured in 1314 by Simon de Montfort. The reverse shows a large ink stain and crease marks.
