Historical postcard from the 'Châteaux de France' collection illustrating Chatigny Castle, built on Gallo-Roman walls dating from the 14th century. The printed text relates its history, mentioning Geoffroy Viau as the first lord in the 13th century and changes in ownership up to the Revolution. The reverse indicates the publisher H. Chevremont, Paris, and a handwritten inscription 'Jehl Loo' at the top right.
