View of the Gothic portal of Champdé in Châteaudun, with its circular tympanum and tower with a spire. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated September 9, 1938, sent to Mr. Maurice S. Morland in Noyant (Indre), with a violet 20-centime stamp and a postmark from Châteaudun.
