View of the Pont Henri-IV in Châtellerault, with its two round towers from the 16th century, on a bridge spanning the Vienne. A horse-drawn cart is moving across the bridge. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 13, 1936, addressed to a 'dear girl' in Châtellerault, signed by A. Rouffet, with a mention of the address '2, Rue Colbert, in Tours'.
