Description

Black and white view of the banks of the Vienne at Châtellerault, with a chimneyed factory and a boat moored at the water's edge, under a clear sky. The back has a handwritten address to Madame G. Clavie, 40 rue Saint Rémy, Borduans, Gerousie, with a postmark from Châtellerault dated 8 May 1903. Two green 5-centime stamps are affixed at top right.
