View of a 13th-century Gothic portal of the Church of Saint-Jean in Chaumont, with a carved wooden door and complex architectural details. The reverse has handwritten mail addressed to 'Mme Bernschnizer, 29 Rue Veron, Paris' and a note 'Bons Souvenirs de Chaumont'.
