Description

View of the Montenvers Railway winding along a stone viaduct at the foot of snow-capped mountains, with the inscription 'Mer de Glace' at the bottom. The reverse side bears a handwritten address to Madame Berne in Lausanne, and a publisher's stamp 'Édit. Laisnay Chamonix-Mont-Blanc'.
