View of Chenonceau Castle with its north-east facade overlooking a river, showing its stone arches and gabled roofs. The reverse indicates the publisher E. PAFEGHIN (Tours) and a handwritten letter addressed to 'Mme Charbonnel' in Tours. A 40-centime stamp from the International Exhibition of Paris 1937 is affixed, with a BLOIS cancellation dated 14 August 1940.
