The front indicates that the western façade was built in the 16th century by Thomas Bohier, and that the bridge and gallery were built by Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Médicis. The back contains handwritten correspondence addressed to Maurice, with an address in Paris, and a French postal stamp postmarked.
