View of the Chinon castle from the 15th century, with its bridge and gallery, built by Thomas Bohier and Catherine Briçonnet, and the gallery by Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Médicis. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated April 26, 1914, addressed to Monsieur Ulysse Hallay at the 368th Infantry Regiment in Sens, Yonne.
