Interior view of the vestibule of the Chenonceaux castle, built between 1513 and 1517 by Thomas Bohier, general receiver of finances, and enlarged by Catherine de Médicis. Printed text at the bottom of the front summarizes the history of the castle. Reverse: text in English repeating the history, mention of the publisher Lévy Frères & Cie, Paris, and a French postal stamp canceled.
