Description

View of the Notre-Dame-du-Vœu Church in Cherbourg, rebuilt between 1850 and 1853 on the site of the Abbey of the same name, founded in the 12th century. The building is in Roman style and houses a statue of the Virgin erected in 1870 by the parishioners.
