Description

Aerial view of the new Napoleon Beach in Cherbourg, crowded with swimmers and visitors at the beginning of the 20th century. At the bottom of the front, the inscription '54 A. - CHERBOURG. - La nouvelle Plage Napoléon'. The reverse has handwritten German text, an address in Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin), and a 10-centime blue stamp canceled in Cherbourg on July 22, 1933.
