View of the Caligny Quay in Cherbourg with buildings lining the quay, people, and bicycles, and a moored boat. In the background, one building has a sign 'OTARD' and another 'TEXACO'. On the back, a postcard sent to Mme Cardy and her sons, 261 Avenue Daumesnil, Paris, with a handwritten message 'Bon Souvenir d'une lune de miel, Amitiés, Mariette' and a signature 'P. Riveau'. Two stamps of 1fr and 1,50fr are affixed, canceled in Cherbourg.
