Description

View of the Promenade and Place Napoléon in Cherbourg, with an equestrian statue in the center and a Gothic church in the background. Several people are visible on the promenade. On the reverse, an inscription at the top left indicates 'Correspondence' and text about the non-acceptance of correspondence on the front by certain foreign countries. Two blue stamps are applied, with a circular cancellation from Cherbourg dated August 22, 1904.
