Description

Snowy scene of the Grand Saint-Bernard pass with a monk in a black robe and two large mountain dogs sitting beside him. Printed text at the bottom: 'J. J. 8479 Grand St. Bernard — Master and Servants'. On the reverse, a 5-centime French postage stamp, canceled with a postmark from La Gorge (Switzerland), and handwritten address to 'La Côte d'Azur'.
