Description

Interior of an oriental salon at Château de Grignan, decorated with damask wallpaper, antique furniture, and a chandelier. The reverse has handwritten text indicating that this salon was renovated by Madame Fontaine, a very wealthy woman who restored the castle before leaving for Paris. She spent 20 million on the restoration and knew a Mr. Fontaine in Indochina.
