Black and white view of the citadel of Corte perched on a steep rock, overlooking the Tavignano gorge. The reverse indicates that it was built in 1420 by the vice-roy of Corsica for King of Aragon Vincentelli d'Istria. The publisher is printed at the bottom of the front: 'Phot. Archives du Touring Club de France'.
