Black and white view of the Porte d'Audc in Carcassonne, showing its conical towers and stone ramparts. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 9 October 1918, sent from Paris to Charles Delherm in Toulouse, with a 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Paris.
