Description

Black and white view of the defenses of Carcassonne Castle, with several stone towers and ramparts. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 20, 1944, addressed to Monsieur Vidal in Saint-Antoine (commune of Albi), sent from Carcassonne by a soldier of the 16th Infantry Division of the Air Force.
