Black-and-white panoramic view of the medieval city of Carcassonne, with its imposing walls and towers dominating a hilly landscape. Printed text in large characters: « One must not die without having seen Carcassonne ». Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Jeanne Troncon in Tartane, with a postmark and dispatch stamp from Nogent-sur-Auvergne dated 21 December 1930.
