Description

Panoramic view of Carcassonne from the west, showing the medieval ramparts and towers overlooking the city and the river below where laundry is drying. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame Charles Montoute de Chaully in Lyon, a red 10-centime stamp, and a cancellation mark from 'TOULOUSE HTE GARONNE' dated 27 May 1916.
