Description

Postcard showing the arch of the Upper Gate in Pérouges, a remnant of the 1469 siege, with a humorous inscription about the impregnable city. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame Sébretan in Saint-Étienne and a partially obliterated postmark from 1910.
