Description

View of the Church of Notre-Dame du Port in Clermont-Ferrand, with its imposing Romanesque bell tower. The printed text indicates its foundation in 575 by Saint-Avit, its destruction in 845 by the Normans, and its restoration in 862 by Saint-Sigond. On the reverse, a postcard sent on 24 June 1912 from Clermont-Ferrand to Madame Henriette Léger in Manejols, with a 10-centime stamp and a Clermont-Ferrand cancellation.
