View of an architectural ensemble consisting of several buildings framing a courtyard enclosed by a metal gate, with an inscription at the bottom indicating '44. CLERMONT-FERRAND. - Les Gravauches'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated February 22, 1917, addressed to a Madame, accompanied by a postage stamp and a postmark.
