Description

Postcard illustrating the large Bourdon de la Garde in Marseille, founded by the Morel house of Lyon and blessed by Monsignor Eugène de Mazenod on October 5, 1845. The text indicates its dimensions (2.40 m in diameter, 2.50 m in height) and its weight (387 kg). On the reverse, the publisher is identified as 'Special Edition of the Basilica' with a papal coat of arms.
