View of a timber-framed building in stone and wood, with decorative façade and shuttered windows, typical of Cognac. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Paris, dated 2-8-1945, with a stamp and a Cognac postmark. The publisher is mentioned at the bottom of the reverse: 'Cognac Editions « Charente »'.
