Description

Black and white view of the Faubourg Saint-Jacques in Cognac, with several boats moored along the riverbank and a bridge in the background. The printed text at the bottom indicates the view was taken from the castle. On the reverse, a postcard dated August 22, 1915, sent to Madame M. Recouirdi in Cière, with a French postage stamp from 1914 and a cancellation from Cognac.
