View of the central facade of the Town Hall in Cognac, adorned with the inscriptions 'LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ' and a coat of arms above the portal. The reverse contains a handwritten correspondence dated May 16, 1918, addressed to Mr. L. Davie in Québec, mentioning a bombing and an attack.
