Description

Postcard depicting a young woman wearing a turban and veil, with printed text at the bottom describing Granville as a coastal point where the tidal range is maximal. On the reverse, handwritten address to Monsieur Pierre Bataille, soldier in the Compagnie d'Ouvernin, in Rennes, with a blue postmark from Cherbourg dated April 10, 1909.
