Description

Interior of the tapestry gallery in the Palace of Compiègne, decorated with two large baroque tapestries depicting Esther's fainting and the royal feast, under a crystal chandelier. The décor includes a large fireplace mantel, armchairs, and embroidered sofas, with an inscription at the bottom indicating the publisher E.D. and the subject. The reverse is blank, without correspondence or postmark.
