View of the main facade of the Palais de Compiègne, with its large central portico and symmetrical wings. Printed text at the top: 'Special Collection of the Palais de Compiègne - Main Facade'. Reverse: handwritten message dated 24 July, addressed to Madame André Mireille in Château-sur-Loire, with a blue 20-centime stamp and cancellation mark from Château-sur-Loire.
