View of the Place de la République in Colmar, showing the old customs house with timber-framed architecture and the Schwendi Fountain in the center. The reverse features a handwritten inscription 'Bonsouvenir d'Alsace' and an address to 'Madame à Ruffec (Charente)', with a 20-centime French postage stamp dated 22 June 1931 and a Strasbourg cancellation mark.
