View of the market square in Colmar, featuring the Hotel du Commerce with its diamond-patterned roof and a central fountain. The printed text at the top reads 'Colmar. Kaufhaus. Hotel du Commerce.' The reverse side has a handwritten letter dated December 18, 1918, sent to Louis Bisser in Ribeauvillé, with a 5 pfennigs postage stamp and a Wintzheim cancellation.
