Description

Funeral monument to Jacques Preiss, a protestative deputy who died in exile (1859-1916), sculpted by Marx. The statue depicts a grieving woman holding a child. Text printed on the monument indicates his function and death. Reverse: poem by Jacques Preiss delivered in the Reichstag on May 7, 1897, published by Huppel, Colmar.
