Description

Sepia-toned view of a canal in Colmar with a rowboat, traditional houses on both banks and a church in the background. The reverse has a handwritten French letter, signed 'L. Gangras', describing a trip to Colmar and the beauty of the surrounding villages. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the top right.
