Description

View of the entrance to the infantry quarter in Commercy, with soldiers lined up on a path bordered by trees and a fence. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 2-11-09 addressed to 'Cherien Broult' in Villeneuve-le-Roi, with a mention of 'Paul Decide' and 'have a good day'. A 25-centime green stamp canceled 'COMMERCY' in the top right corner.
