View of the Armistice Crossroads in Compiègne, where the armistice was signed, with neoclassical architecture and people present. The reverse has handwritten text dated 16 August 1930, addressed to Madame Simandour in Tornav, with a blue 40-centime stamp and a postmark from PIEDFONDS (Oise) dated 16 August 1930.
